Since 2013, Hero Hunts has brought veterans together through hunting trips, fishing events, shooting sports, and monthly gatherings that help combat isolation and build lasting friendships. Veterans shared how the organization has provided encouragement, purpose, and a strong support system as they navigate life after military service.

Hero Hunts was featured by KATC on May 3, 2024 for its ongoing mission to help veterans reconnect with the outdoors while addressing the mental health challenges many face after service. Through hunting trips, fishing events, and fellowship with fellow veterans, the organization creates opportunities for healing, connection, and support. Veterans involved with Hero Hunts shared how the experiences and camaraderie have helped them cope with PTSD, depression, and the difficulties of transitioning back to civilian life.
